It was fantastic. The unit was perfectly located between downtown Durango and all the hiking we wanted to do towards Silverton. The unit was squeaky clean and beautifully appointed. We have used VRC for houses numerous times and all of the houses are clean and top notch. We come numerous times a year and their homes are our go to houses. - Charlie S.

08/10/24 Perfect vacation home in Durango
Awesome location, close to so many adventures. Bar D chuckwagon, Durango hot springs, Bear Ranch horseback riding, mild to wild rafting, James Ranch, Purgatory ski resort, Durango Silverton train ride and downtown Durango to name just a few. Nice grocery store, PJ’s down the road. Two nice golf courses close by. The house was extremely clean and fully stocked. The house backs up to a wonderful hiking area. The backyard had an open grassy area for my kids to play catch. Communication with the rental company was excellent. Highly recommend! - Dakota S.

We enjoyed this home very much and even extended our stay! It was perfect for us (two couples over 50 years old). There is a mountain hike just outside the back door! What a treat and a challenge for us and a great way to start every day!! The hosts thought of everything and we lacked nothing! We are considering coming back in August. - Elizabeth H.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the perfect home for our ski weekend at Purgatory! It was the perfect location - 1 minute to the Hot Springs, 10 minutes to Durango for restaurants, and 20 minutes to Purgatory. The home was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the home was bigger than we anticipated, the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, the fireplace was a perfect warm spot to relax after a fun day on the slopes, and the garage was perfect when we got 15 inches of snow! 10/20/23 Absolutely Wonderful

This house was perfect for my family of 5. We had plenty of room. The house was very clean upon arrival and had all of the amenities we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked with good pots and pans, which goes a long way with me. The deck was great to relax and enjoy a nice Colorado Kolsch. My kids greatly enjoyed the backyard.We also enjoyed the hot springs which is only 1/4 mile up the road.We stayed in this house last year and just had to stay again and it certainly didn't disappoint. The home is fresh and new, well designed and located. Very nice to have a garage for our vehicle. The upstairs veranda overlooking red cliffs was a favorite for us as well as our guests. Excellent location north of town, very close to the hot springs spa. - Michael D.

Loved the location, very nice home, clean, comfortable, with AC and most everything we needed to stay for 10 days. New home and nice furnishings so you are comfortable with open plan kitchen/living room. We had a great experience with management who helped us with a small issue almost immediately. The rental agency was very responsive to any questions we had. Clear instructions on location, entry to home, simple departure requirements. Home was super clean and beautiful, upstairs balcony and quiet private backyard sitting area were so relaxing. Every detail seemed well thought out to make this experience just perfect. 05/07/23 Fantastic Durango Vacation
We visited this Durango for a week and this house was perfection! It is spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. Upon arrival, it was so clean and ready for our vacation adventure to begin. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms gorgeous and common areas has so much room. Kitchen was wonderfully stocked with everything we needed to prep some meals at the house. And the view...incredible! It was a great home base for exploring Durango and the surrounding area. We recommend it 100% Also the property management company was very responsive (and quick to do so) from start to finish. - Diane R.

My family of 5 absolutely loved the house. Upon arrival everything was spotless and very clean. The instructions from the property manager were clear. I had a quick question and they addressed it very quickly. The location is perfect with amazing views and quick access to a grocery was great. Durango Hot Springs is just right down the street as well. We spent so much time on the deck taking in the views as well as the nice backyard. We will definitely return! - David S.

09/24/22 Attention to Detail in this Mountain Modern Retreat
My family and I came to Durango to be with my sister who was in the ICU. I desperately needed some place that was nice, quiet, and affordable to recharge after difficult days at the hospital. This place literally kept us sane during this difficult time. I have never stayed somewhere so well furnished, designed, and located. It’ll the house was spacious, had gorgeous red cliff views, and was super close to the Durango Hot Springs. It was far enough away from the city center to be peaceful and close enough to make shopping super simple. The modern design was exactly what we like. Honestly, this will be the only place we stay again in this area. The host company was very responsive and compassionate as we navigated the stressors of our situation. Can’t recommend this place enough. - Christopher H.

This property is the perfect getaway. Close to purgatory and also very close to the Durango hot spring pools. The place is very clean and has everything that you can possibly need for a worry free vacation. It has a very luxurious feel about it. Clutter free and great bed linens.
